Almost all of you have common sense and proper netiquette...
...but for those who just don't get it, and need to be reminded:
If you don't see (SPOILERS) in the thread title, don't post spoilers.
If you have to ask "should i use a spoiler tag" - THEN USE A SPOILER TAG!
We have spoiler tags for a reason. Here's a quick demonstration:
[ SPOILER ]spoiler[ /SPOILER ]
In action (no spaces on the tags, obviously):
SPOILER:
spoiler
Please use a disclaimer of some sort to describe whats in the spoiler tag - For example:
Re: preview for next week
SPOILER:
looks crazy ...etc
---------------
For shows or movies that are currently airing, a spoiler tag should be used for anything that has not aired:
Previews
Upcoming Episode Titles
Upcoming Cast Members
ANYTHING That has leaked or is rumored to be a leak
ANYTHING that has to do with source material (books, comics..etc)
--------
Please start a separate thread for ongoing spoiler discussions or shows/movies with source material (books, comics).
For example, you should not be discussing the Walking Dead comics in any other Walking Dead thread besides a dedicated "Walking Dead Comic" thread. If you post about source material for whatever reason, it MUST be in a spoiler tag and there MUST be a disclaimer about what the spoiler tag includes.
Please also start a dedicated thread for any show that is suffering from leaks. For example, if info about the final season of Breaking Bad were to leak, then there should be an official "Breaking Bad, Final Season *Spoilers*" thread.
---------
Finally, for any shows or seasons that have already aired, please use good judgement. For example, do not post any plot details in a thread title. Do not post spoilers in a thread where people are obviously not caught up to the current episode.
