nah breh

Amazon marketplace, Craigslist, ebay, slickdeals like wutang said, etc. Too many places to find good deals nowadays.

If you gonna rock with canon get atleast a t2i.

Honestly from all the research I did the main difference between the T2I and T3I is the digital screen that comes on the T3I it's able to be flipped up and down and out where as the T2I isn't moveable.

Also don't rule out the 7D which is about 100 dollars more. Get a Camera with a lens kit also just find the correct lenses. I messed up and got a 75-300mm and a 18-55mm one. I just want to shoot videos of the fam and take pictures.

http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-T3..._EOS_Rebel_T2i

There you go that website reviews and compares every single dslr that has came out in the past 5 yrs.

And also I got into photography as a hobby. It just so happened that I took photos at a random house party and people liked my work so much Fraternities wanted to pay me to shoot their parties.
I didnt get into this to make money.

7d is almost 3x as much as the t2i and has the same sensor.

Unless you are a professional photographer that takes alot of outdoor wildlife/sports photos, 7d is overkill like a mutha for a newbie...unless u got money and dont really care.

t2i is the entry level 18MP cropped sensor. One of the most popular Canon dslrs ever.
t3i = new and improved t2i w/ adjustable swivel screen, external mic for better audio when you do movies, and I believe it improves autofocusing.
60d = "bigger brother" of the t3i. You get faster shutter speeds and continuous shooting.
7d = everything better with this one. over 8 fps shooting, WAY better autofocusing, alloy body so its very tough and more...but its still a cropped sensor.

If shooting movies isnt your thing I would go with the t2i or possibly going Nikon.

If u think you will be using your camera for movies, I would start with either the t3i or even the 60d if your wallet can afford it.

I meant the 60D. I kind of was stuck between the T3I/60D and a Nikon but went with the T3I simply because of the screen.

Yup, I was in the same boat. Spent weeks between debating about t3i vs 60d vs 7d vs Nikon.

I thought the swivel screen was just a novelty, but it actually does help when u gotta take pics at awkward angles. Im liking mines

If Canon releases a sequel to the 7d with a full frame sensor it's a wrap

How was the quality of your videos? I may upload some vids tomorrow for the people curious about buying it.

Never took it seriously enough to check it out on my computer.
I felt like if I wanted to do videos then I wouldn't get a DSLR I'd get an actually HD Video Camera.
