I felt like if I wanted to do videos then I wouldn't get a DSLR I'd get an actually HD Video Camera.

Oh I know the Nikon's do really good Video's Just seems that Canon DSLR's put more emphasis on the video features of their camera.

And I have yet to meet anybody that says they shoot video with their Nikon on a daily basis.

When I was at SXSW this yr it seemed like everybody was shooting video with a Canon.

ok I know nothing about photography but I want to ask something. I like looking at the sky at night and seeing all the stars and the moon and all of the moon's details (the craters, color, size). What is the cheapest camera I can get that can capture the details that my eyes are seeing?

You telling us that isnt going to help narrow down a camera.
We need to know what your willing to spend.
Your also gonna need a tripod as well cause if you wanna capture the sky a flash is gonna do you no good. Youll have to shoot with a very low iso and use a very long shutter speed as well.

You might even need a telephoto lens which will most likely cost 2 to 3 times more than the camera as well(If your trying to capture details of the moon).

So tell us what is your budget?

This is a very expensive hobby friend

Fukk I always kind of wanted to delve into photography and shooting small skits or something but I didn't know where to start. Any starters guide? What's the price range for these cameras? I could see me doing alot of sh1t with these.

I didn't check my craigslist. I'm in the NJ, East Orange but anywhere in Essex County should be good for craiglist. I think I'll just scour the internet for a good dslr camera and take it from there.
