I really liked that whole sequence, I mean the song is overused....the pilot of 'Miami Vice' has the first exact half of the scene, minus the sex. iI was risky, but in the end I think it worked. The bonding and intensity of the sex scene I liked, she finally opened up to him in that moment, lust, tension, comfort, trust in another, as well as the feelings of desperation and hopelessness, momentarily forgotten.
That can't be the first time they really had sex though, was that explained? Maybe just the first she was really into it.
I'm a week late on the 2nd ep, watched it today. Good ep. I wish they would've went into more detail on the poison they used because that delivery system (umbrella) was common for assassinations back then but ricin was typically used, which had no antidote in 1981. Actually, as far as I know, it still doesn't even today.
