Its been around for over a decade(really 2) and is still the dominant sound. So much that even Electra house music is stealing the sound. Trap music is the biggest sound in hip hop history n wont fade no time soon

trap music is the son of gangsta rap. i agree trap is a sound but its also lyrics. wiz khalifa goes over trap beats but isn't a trap rapper.
