That three in the fourth quarter of the #TheCrampGame did have my chest a little tight.

how much was AK47 worth really? I'm guessing the Wolves overpaid a lot right? I heard he was a beast in the olympics though
Of course we overpaid, but now you don't have to worry about SF. I ain't really worried about AK. Even when he gets banged there's gonna be suitable depth there with Caged Lion and Air Bud. The only uncertainty early on will be Roy. If Roy even shows flashes of what he used to be, he'll be one of the biggest stories of the year. Everyone's rooting for him.
He says he's not feeling any pain or setbacks so cross your fingers.

I'm rooting for the Wolves but even if they surpass expectations and make the playoffs I can't see them being any higher than a fifth seed at best, probably sixth.

5/6 is good enough for this team, esp with the given comeback of rubio from injury
i think more important is their player dev in d will. they will need some help from broy though

They have the longest playoff drought of any team in the NBA. 5th, 6th, 1st, 8th, whatever, if they get there they get there. I hope you're right.

from a PER standpoint, they replaced incompetence with competence. Not flashy names, but they get the job done. I'm looking forward to watching guys like Cunningham and Budinger, specialists. Anything from Shved will be extra, but I hope by the end of the year he's strong enough to make an impact because he is flashy.
If they're treading water by the time Ricky's back, they'll take off. If they're doing better than that, oh ****. I'm praying the injury bug shows mercy on this team this season.

I agree that on paper they made an improvement of the overall team. Still a lot of ifs. I do think Beas and Darko contributed mildly to the team last year, much more than people give them credit for.

Beasley was their closer for the majority of the last two seasons... This is why Roy will be so important, hes gonna need to help out offensively in clutch moments. Milicic? Nah. They replaced him with Steimsma anyways who is a good role player, he is a shot blocking machine.
But even if the Wolves ball out, there's little chance they'll have a better record than La, Okc, Sa, Clippers, or Denver. So best case scenario is their a 6th seed but if they avoid first round matchup against LA or OKC, they could be second round team.
