yo, if nate bounces, and JL3 comes back in return and I find out drose is not gonna play at all this season, I might have to retire from this thread til october.

Bulls gain better shooting, floor spacing, and length from that trade. Plus the contrast that Gibson and Bargnani bring to the table too. I wouldn't worry to much about the Bulls rebounding, as its basically all scheme and hustle anyway (Thibs will still have rebounding as a main priority).
If the guards are healthy - Lucas won't even see any significant gametime. ***** will be an afterthought. plus it's not like nate gonna be on the roster next season anyway.

thats where im at with it. boozer not getting better. and in another year, boozer could get so bad that its no way to get out that contract. and the amnesty is useless cause it still dont put us under the cap.
bargnani has a more movable contract, so even if he dont work out and cant stay on the floor, we have more of a shot of moving him, and he has that eto in 2014, so its much easier to get out from under him. we hold boozer too long, we could be stuck with him with no where to go.
and who knows what bargs can bring. yea he a bad rebounder but with the way the league is, the only team in the east the rebounding thing hurts us with is indy, vs everybody else, taj, noah, deng and whatever bargs can bring is still better than anybody else. and no telling what thibs can do with him. we done seen what boozer is, good to get another look somewhere else. low risk high reward imo.
gotta admit though, that john lucas **** is killing me. giving up a cheaper better nate is close to a deal breaker.

At the end of the day, Nate ain't gonna get significant minutes when Rose comes back, and we more than likely can't afford to keep him after this season. As much as I love what Nate brings to the team, what Boozer brings on the defense end is an atrocity. Bargs has also has never played with an MVP type player, and a great coach like Thibs. Bargs can fit the system and be a catch and shoot guy. Rebounds won't be that big of a deal because we have an advantage in that area every night. Loozer also stays padding his rebounding numbers...

Why not? How many years EB got left on his deal? Man U kill two birds with one stone. Get rid of Kirk and get a serviceable big man too. Plus, if they do this deal, they CAN'T get rid of lil Nate

Dallas just claimed an amnestied Brand this past offseason. Under NBA rules, Brand cannot be traded until July 1st 2013
