this is a good team. leave ross alone, he a rookie and going to be better in a few years. now we need to rid bargs. he doesnt do it as a starter nor as a bench player. trade him for humphries
but if they keep this team they will do good. they play bad and can still win games. before they'd have to play lights out to even win one. with the addition of rudy, it must be their d cuz they been hangin in these games and doesn't look like luck.
Can't believe the Bucks came back though. Coulda gained a game. Good part is we still play them 3 more times.

You can only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent

Kings won't do it. Believe it or not, Thompson is underrated but in a crap situation. Jimmer can be a good backup PG in the right system which Toronto is.
The Hump for Bargs is a good deal for Toronto, I don't see why Brooklyn would do it. They seem to be looking for an upgrade. Bargs and Brook getting rebounds breh
Breh, you were a bad team and your GM has Wizardrhea. That's where your team is so bad, you think much better of your pieces than they actually are because NBA teams don't take them serious. So your players have easy drives to the basket, plays v. lax defenses, n*ggas not doing their homework and just not taking their opponent seriously. So you overrate your pieces like Terrance Ross for example. With Gay and Lowry, teams are taking you serious. They are doing their homework and playing you serious and now Ross is getting exposed. It's real in the field but it's better for Ross. He can develop better because now he knows what he's doing wrong and will work on it in the off-season.
Wizardrhea was created by my good friend who was talking to some delusional Wizards fans who felt Nick Young and JaVale McGee had All Star potential.
Colangelo is the worst.

Naw, he was right on some of his moves. I understood the Fields move. Nash agent was Fields agent and he would be a good fit for Nash. He really wanted Nash and though it was going to happen but it didn't.
I understood the Ross pick, you had a true center in Val and well he thinks to highly of Bargs.
He was locked into 7-10 pick. The teams in front are too bad and ones behind are too good. He needed to make a move for an All Star level player who fit and Gay was perfect and traded him for average value but Gay value was kinda lower than it should be because of his contract.
Now, I think he sucks nonetheless. Amir contract was horrible. The jury is still out on Derozan. Bargs and Calderon contract was terrible. With that said, he's the 2nd worst GM in the NBA.
Worst GM's:
1. Grunfield (The worst) His best picks were obvious. Everything else was a mistake or fail.
2. Colangelo
3. Dumars but he's improving again but signing CV, Gordon, and Mags

Amir contract isnt horrible right now...
and ur wrong about the first two points,Fields was a horrible decision because he isnt worth that money and Nash at his age isnt the right guy for this team so to overpay him for a declining PG is even more retarded...
Drummond was the highest ceiling guy available, you dont pick in the top 10 for need, you pick the best guy and worry about who stays and who goes after...A competent GM would have drooled at the prospect of Andre and Val as a future front court and realized that was bargnani's exit and as he is stinkin it up right now its even more obvious that was the move to make...

Amir contract is horrible. 3/19 while averaging 7/6 with 24 MPG. You don't pay bench level role players more than the MLE. You don't do it, you can't do. Now is he playing well below his contract, no but he's not playing to his contract. His contract is basically one of a quality role playing starter. Not a 27 MPG 9/7 player who avg 3.8 Fouls pg.
I understand what he was doing, I didn't say it was smart. It was all about business. You get Nash and you get sellouts. It was all about money breh. Rogers Corp probably wanted it more than Coangelo but knowing him, he wanted it bad too.
I would have drafted Drummond too or I would have moved up and tried to land Lillard and no, I said that's what I would do before the draft, not even monday's QBing. I wanted the Cats to draft Robinson and I hoped we could swing a deal for Drummond with Josh Smith for the Kings. but nope. Didn't happen. Most GM's would have past on Drummond, not just Colangelo. Drummond was extremely raw and still is extremely raw. He is playing a team no one takes serious and can't even get a lot of mins. Dude is more raw than JaVale out of college but his potential and talent is . That is what you can't pass on his his pick and roll and movement skills is for his size.
I don't think Val is a PF and while Andre skill-set is more of a PF, he has no range. He is player with a lot of holes in his game at the moment. I see your point but the player you probably needed was Harrison Barnes. He will be really good.

Amir is averaging a double double as a starter and plays decent defense well worth that contract, you dont seem to grasp that right now this franchise has to overpay for some players, even Gay overpaid but i get the thinking behind the move IF he can be a legit No 1 for the next 2 seasons...and you dont even sound like you live in T.O.
They didnt need Nash to draw, they been drawing for years with a bumass team, they are 13th in attendance right now at 21-32...Im sure they thought Nash would help the offense and be the player he was 5 yrs ago but they were drawing fine and always have drawn well....They will start selling out every night when they win consistently and make the playoffs not because of any marquee washed up signings...
Does that idiot poster from SOHH who had the "sources" post here, the guy who used to chirp about the Raptors relocating after Bosh left because the attendance would go in the toilet...I need to holler at his dumbass lol.

I don't think Gay is overpaid for his contract in Toronto.
It's hard for me to talk highly of Amir, when I watch him on offense and defense, I see an average role player who fouls too much.
I understand you have to overpay, I am an Atlanta fan. That was the reason we f**ked up. Marvin and Joe was overpaid and Josh wants to be overpaid. This is what happens when you have talented players but aren't close to a title team. Thankfully Al and Zaza are paid reasonably.
You really think Nash wouldn't have made a difference. You guys sold-out the first game with Rudy Gay. Breh, Steve Nash is NBA HOF type and a Canadian who's White. Come on now, you being a Monday QB right now. All indication was Nash had at least 3 more years left in him at a very high level.
