you probably wouldn't trade lowry for derozan straight up, you'd have to add ed davis or picks to sweeten the deal. i don't see how it would be dumb to trade bargs...he's one-dimensional. he does one thing and that's score, and he needs a ton of shots to do it. and he doesn't even do it that well. he's a big man who needs 17-18 shots just to hit 45%. he's not exactly untouchable.

and yes, there's definitely a fanbase here. it's small, but most toronto sports fans gave up on the raptors right after the vc trade.

I agree about you'd have to add a piece, but I wouldnt be opposed to a straight up trade if we could get it from the standpoint of a raptors fan as neither players are out of this world talents and lowry doesnt wanna be in houston...thus giving us the leverage

45 % is an excellent shooting fg for a perimeter player
a big man that's a perimeter player shooting 45 % and care score the hell out of the ball (which if we're being biased, Barganani does very well) is a hell of a mismatch..a lo more so than a PG that struggles to shoot 40 percent from the field (lowry)

Not that I have any beef with Derozan (small salary) but I'd rather offload him (preferably packaged with Calderon or Bargnani for a reputable Small Forward and then draft Austin Rivers or Jeremy Lamb. Only if we sign Goran Dragic too though. I wanna say Michael Beasley but probably not a good idea. Think we could get Rudy Gay? Meh probably not. But imagine

I aint know how everything works but even a sign and trade with Gerald Wallace would be a good look. There's potential...but BC wont make it happen. Dumbass signed Lina Kleiza...for what? Bargnani's defensive woes hurt though, we need to offload him for an Ibaka type
