Bunch a white people telling black folk how to feel. **** them.
There's a reason I lurk there instead of actually having an account. No fucks would be given if Evander wasn't black and the fact that they don't realize their own subtle ingrained racism make what they say worse. They mention other dudes in the thread but why are there no threads on them. As much as people **** on Kane, the way PK Subban is treated makes me wanna fight somebody, real talk.

I didn't read every post in there, but basically it looks like a bunch of them are mad that a black guy would dare talk about racism. Props to the ones that are defending Kane though.
I remember reading an article about Anson Carter one time and apparently alot of people didn't like him because he had dread locks and wore Sean John clothes. I'm glad more and more blacks are picking up hockey and not changing who they are to fit in.
Kane is a young, extremely talented hockey player and he's a kid just being himself, not fitting into the mold of a "hockey guy" and that's why they're mad. And of course a lot of that has to do with the fact that he's black. They just won't admit it.
In hockey culture, especially in the media, they expect you to be a robot with no personality. Since hockey is the ultimate team sport, if you display a bit of your personality, they see it as being selfish and taking away from the team. But that's just for TV and the way the they want guys to be perceived. I've played hockey with those guys my whole life, they're some of the most ignorant, uneducated, low-class guys you will ever meet in your life. So it's pretty sad when Kane is just a kid, doing innocent dumb sh1t that any kid his age would do and he's getting sh1tted on for it. But it's not surprising to me at all. I've played against guys who would make ignorant and racist comments on the ice and I know for a fact Kane has too. He's not playing the race card, he's just speaking the truth.

Reason: I
I went at a couple dudes on twitter a few months back over Kane,i dont even need to read it i know what it is....Its funny Jets fans love the team and cheer him but hate him spew there cism all over the nets about that pic...
Typical hockey fan cism...there goalie can drive drunk and damn near kill someone and get off with no backlash but Kane gets flak for posting a pic with his own money...
Nothing surprises me about this sport, its rooted in cism...
LOL
TSN's panel is a bunch of morons, hockey anaylsts and experts are just insulated yes men its funny...Its asinine to think Cooke didnt do that intentionally...
He most definitely did that on purpose to injure him, when do you EVER see a guy bring his foot up that high and drive it into a players leg on that play..it NEVER happens for them to be saying its a circumstantial play
How can you look at that replay and think thats an accident
They are allowing the his leg was sliding up excuse thats the beauty of it,he made it seem like it was accidental by purposely sliding his knee up like that AGAIN you never see guys step down on a guys leg like that....Matt Cooke is the dirtiest fakkit in the league and tried to end a mans career right there and you got these bums on TSN defending it YET YET Pk Subban still needs to humble himself remember

But, but, he's a changed man.
**** that ****** Cooke. Dude's the biggest piece a **** in hockey. Plays dirty, rarely rights, and does it all while wearing a shield. Next time the Sens play Pittsburgh, Chris Neil is gonna give him that work. His ***** *** tried to run from him tonight, Neil smacked him up good late in the 3rd.
Its crazy hes gonna get off with nothing for that...He should be suspended for the rest of the season without a doubt that was intentional and he did it to injure Karlsson...Your leg doesnt come down like that and then into a players leg like a knife if it was accidental, that wasnt even a good attempt at making that look like an accident which Cooke is known for...
Hes gonna get away with that,if i was Sens mgmt id sanction Neil to beat the living sh1t outta him next game and id pay the fines...
Still makin' you faggots mad after all these years.
On a serious note.. most rational hockey fans that aren't bias will tell you this doesn't look like an intent to harm Karlsson. Cooke has been a dirty player in the past, and you can say that this was a reckless play that could've been avoided.. but I don't see how you can say he was trying to injure another person here.
It makes no sense to think that Cooke would risk his career and purposely do something like that which could get him kicked out of the game because of his past history with suspensions. Be blinded and all you want because of how much you hate the guy, but fact remains, he has adjusted his game and became a clean player in the past two years.

You have to be incredibly gullible and naive to thnk that was an accident...Theres nothing accidental about the motion of his leg coming down and then INTO the back of his leg,he knew exactly what he was doing...

Yeah, and I guess the league already coming out and saying they're not going to suspend him is just bias towards Cooke or something, right?
If this was an anyway and obvious dirty play with intent to harm it would be reviewed and looked at further by the league considering it was done by a repeat offender.

breh the league is runned by idiots i expect nothing less to tolerate and defend crap like this...This league is notorious for not punishing stuff like this...Its why you cant let ex players govern themselves, there insulated in there own world where stupidity and hypocrisy prevails...
Bob McKenzie on national TV trying to convince ppl the name on the back of the jersey(a known and often punished goon) shouldnt be accounted for when making a decision on intent

If this was true, than why did Cooke get suspended for 17 games the last time he did something dirty?

We all know the NHL doesnt hand out punishments based on any consistency of past similar occurences...This league has always doled out inconsistent punishments with no specific guideline for any penalty...2 games for this 5 games for that 12 games for this...The NHLs disciplinary committee is the biggest joke of there head office...
