You can't talk about his performances anymore, so now you gotta use quotes.
Up until yesterday all the talk was, "Kobe is getting his, but the Lakers are losing."
He's had a streak of 8 straight 30-point games, streaks of 10+ assists ... those are performances we can talk about. Do they trump Bron's? Tbh, no, but lets not act like he's been scrubby.

i'm a die hard Laker fan so i'll defend him to no end and **** on him when it is very necessary. but dont front when people bring up players like him and Duncan who are virtually 30+ yr old legends and want to give them credit.
and whats better than seeing a quote from another legend thats still playing in the league.
I think Duncan was a better player up until about 2005-06. At his peak, I'd take Duncan over Kobe. He impacted the game more as a big man.
But as much as I like Duncan, Kobe has outlasted him. Duncan's last elite season was 2007-08. For the last 5 years, he hasn't commanded double-teams like he used to, and he hasn't been able to carry the team like he used to.

Exactly. Once again, ever since he became KOBE JOHNSON (starting against UTAH on 1/25/2013) we're 8-3 and he's averaging 18.3 pts, 8.3 assts, 7.2 rebs, 1.3 stls, and 45.4% from the field.
