GOAT genetics and he was that way since a kid. Could you imagine what he would look like if he did weight training?

Ill tell you straight how it is no bull.

When I was lifting before calisthenics my lifts were was following:

Bench 225x5ish
BB Row 205x5ish
Weighted Pullups +70x5
Pullups: could barely get past 12 straight
Weighted Dips +90

This was my maxes built up from lifting from 07- about 01/2010. Weighted 180-190ish.

I started boxing in 2010. Started incorporating intensive calisthenics around summer that year. By December 2010 my lifts were as follows:

Bench 275x4
Pushups 70-100 a set
BB Row 265x5
Weighted Pullups +125x4
Pullups 25-40 a set
Weighted Dips 125x4
Dips 60-70 a set

Weight went down (I had to shed weight to middleweight) from 183-173. (mw is 165)

Stopped lifting and all types of exercise starting around early Jan 2011. Did nothing at all.
Got back in the gym late April 2012. My lifts were as follows:

Bench 155x5
Pushups 15-20 a set
BB Row 185x3
Pullups 4-5 a set
Weighted pullups i didnt even try my first day in.

In that time frame my weight dropped from 173-151. Natural Weight is around 160 (i wasnt eating much)

Today is July 30 2012 I just got back from the gym here are my numbers.

Bench 315x2
Pushups 80 a set
(elevated)
Incline Bench 275x4
BB Row 315x5
Weighted Pullups +155x5

Pullups 25 a set. (tried for 35 but my system was pretty taxed. first time doing 315 bb row. Ill get it wednesday though)
Rack Pulls 500x1

Last Friday I weighed 172.

Believe it or not. From 07-10 i messed with creatine/weightgainers/whey heavy. When I started boxing I went COMPELTELY natural. Stopped all supplements. Not even whey protein. Boxing every pound counts so i needed to get my weight down. From april to now also. No whey, no weight gainers, no supplements except a multivitamin. All regular food. I dont bulk, I want max strength min size cause I gotta keep my weight/size down. Might get back into boxing.
vert and Jefe Blanco dap this.

Doesn't seem unrealistic. Were you hitting a muscle group 1x a week from 07-'10?? Rep ranges?

from 07-10 yea I did a 5day split.
rep ranges I started 7-10, and strength gains were VERY slow. very.

Then I switched to 3-5 reps. and they started along.

Now I do fullbody MWF. Rep ranges 3-5. When im upping weight ill even go for one rep.

Make sense.

Vert took the words out of my mouth with his post. This post helped clear a lot of things up. Good ****. Definitely a good insight on alternate forms of training.

Calisthenics are great for a leaned out, and athletic look. I've been incorporating tons of calisthenics and they've done a lot for shaping my muscles. I'd still recommend doing things like bench press because your chest can get kind of small if you only do calisthenics... but they do wonders if you want a slim, lean look.

I'm at a plateau (partly because I drink now and then and take big breaks from the gym) so I'll try whatever. On the days that you lift are you lifting at one time of day and the calisthenics another time, the same time, or different days?

Jesus. How many pullups did you do per set.

Edit. Nevermind.
