Every year... standard complain about new years resolution people... I honestly don't even notice them....

I work 7:30-4:30 so I go after work before I go to bed that sticks me in the 5:00-11:00 pm time frame. Outside of days off I don't have much of a choice.
If they weren't hogging all the treadmills I wouldn't care. It's hard not to notice them when you gotta wait 10 minutes upon arrival. It doesn't help that I go to the McDonald's of gyms. I'm bout to rejoin the YMCA again.

I can't complain too much ( at least their trying to be active). You know when it's the new year when suddenly the gym you frequent is making random "upgrades." I couldn't even make this up, over the past 2 weeks, I noticed a new multipurpose machine, new treadmills and other ****.

Went tonight at like 7

Every single bike and treadmill was taken. Was like at least most of the the actual weight stuff is open, throw hoodie in a locker come back out and New Years people on all the benches and free weights.

Some old guy took the bar off and was doing sit ups on the decline bench

Some guy was on the Smith Machine benching with 10s on each side



then I'm trying to do dips and ofc there's like 5 dudes all having social hour sitting on it taking turns (all of them not going down nearly far enough)/doing nothing.

All I'm trying to do is bench and have to wade around all the brehs doing curls with the bar/other nonsensical fuckery

Almost seems like a paradox or no win situation.

On one hand frequent gym goers complain about the excessive amount individuals working out, taking space and disrupting from their daily regime; but at the same time, when the majority of the population is unable to commit to exercise (at the gym) on a regular basis, frequent gym goers are quick to throw shade at overweight people for not taking care of themselves...

At the end of the day, a more fit / health conscience populace is all, anyone could ask for...

But judging from a strictly evolutionary standpoint, the more "fit" individuals survive, and "reproduce" more often

Im on base here at Aviano... and at times it can be bad. A lot of people just standing around staring/hating because of their insecurities. It should blow of over in a couple months... glad to see people who are actually trying though. We all start somewhere.
