Default If you could build a home gym, what would you put in it???

Mayne I want to have a home gym one day but I am at all the equipment I'd be looking at

The only exercise I use barbells for is SLDLs... everything else is dumbbells or machines

I'm looking at some of these machine prices... man eff this I think I will be a gym rat for life, I would never make the $$$$ back

Maybe in my old age I would switch to a real basic body weight routine. Just get a cage, do dips, body rows, etc....

What would your home gym be like??

My local gym just built a sauna. Good thing, they don't have any "suspect" characters, like at commercial gyms.

As for the question:

All I would need is a barbell and maybe 500lbs worth of weights

Number one is a squat rack. Definitely need a 45 lb bar.

A bench and a pull up bar

Assortment of dumbells and a leg extension/hamstring curl machine.

A pulley machine, with a couple different bars to connect to it.

A treadmill or bike

And a seated calf raise machine.
