Oh okay I do squats holding weights too...but I hold them to the sides and do a deep squat...how does the gobble squat differ? How much weight do you use? And how many sets?
I don't do anything different than what a guy would do. My main cardio is running; I run anywhere from 25-60 miles/week (depending upon whether I'm training for a marathon or not).
I lift weights 3x/week; I do squats, weighted lunges, leg presses, weighted dips, deadlifts, dumbbell curls, snatches, clean and jerks, etc.
I basically do a modified version of the workouts we did in track. I'm muscular, but not overly so. Women aren't going to get jacked unless they're taking something.

lol yea I post from my phone so being lazy I did not even check the first page I just replied to that pic...thanks...tho
so with the goblet squats how is it any better than the deep squats I stated I already do? I do them holding weights straight down to my side. but I do not use 20 pounds...it seems like the goblet squats are just good for form...
What works for men works for women 99 times out of 100.
To get "toned" you have to build muscle... lifting heavy weights won't make you bulky
You can do a full body workout 3x/week... planks, squats, stiff leg deadlifts, rows, incline bench press. Do 3 sets and 10 reps of a weight you will struggle to get the last rep off on the last set. You will hit all the major body parts and build some muscle.
On the diet side replace some carbs with protein. This will let you build muscle and burn a little fat. You will get nice and sculpted on this plan.
Dont be scared of weight.
lol I used to be scared of weights ...I normally only jogged and did calisthenics because I always believe weights bulked you...but now I know better...
I eat fish about once a month but for the most part my diet consist of legumes..nuts...fresh veggies..and fruits...
thanks for the tips...

I used to jog often but I fell off last year and I am just getting back on it regularly...I do my jogging faithfully now to keep my peace lol about 3-5 times a week ...

how many pounds do you lift?
Depends on the exercise, but I use the 20 pound dumbbells for my curls.

I see a bunch of male threads here..I'm proud of y'all and all but help a sista out lol...
My diet is,on point...I'm a vegetarian with a vegan diet...but I want my body to be in it's best shape...I don't want to be muscular at all just very well toned...
I do cardio 3-5 times a,week...but I've honestly never been good with weight training without a trainer...
So what workouts do you suggest for women?
I follow a few fitness pages...but I never get a,chance to talk to the women directly so it would be nice to have some ladies tips on here...
First off anaerobic>>>>>aerobic exercise for weight loss and building muscle(not really sure which your after)
Second off, being vegan doesn't mean your diet is right. You can be consuming a lot of fats still. Also plants are incomplete protein substance so make sure your getting enough from soy beans, rasins, and other plant sources
