i fuckin slipped on ice in the snow storm broke my hip like an old woman im only in my 30s, had surgery that night, now in rehab, anybody go though this shiiit playing sports or car accident, etc

thx appreciate it and it hurt like hell i felt my bones rubbing together when i first tried to move, yeah i advise everyone to be careful, i was kind of rushing to get out of the blizzard and it made me not prepared to brace myself when i fell

As much as rehab hurts keep going...and drink some milk and take vitamin D, i've never heard of a 30 year old breaking a hip from a fall less than 10 feet. Watch out for them PE's
even if your in your 20s and 30s some people dont get the blood flow and need hip replacement
yeah the doctor told me about this, he said theres a 70 percent chance of full recovery and 30 percent that ill need a total hip replacement if i dont get enough blood flow to the hip and the bone becomes necrotic.

thanks,yeah everyone was pretty surprised too, i guess i just didnt have any time to brace myself and just fell like square on the hip, and thats why it broke.
good news so far is i did walk with a walker the day after surgery

Did you have to get any part of it replaced? How long is the rehab? I have to have a part of mine replaced but I've been putting it off because it isn't unbearable yet. I feel for you breh

luckily not yet i got 3 pins in my hip so far, 3 months recovery time but then i have to get checked regularly to see if the bone has enough blood going to it otherwise i might need a total hip, good luck in your case also my dude

That's exactly my problem it's causing avascular necrosis.
Hope you have a speedy recovery breh and be careful out there.
