You are so very wrong. How do you think the Egyptians and other Middle Eastern countries got out from dictatorship? They had ASSAULT rifles that rivaled the governments. Tanks are great for wide open combat. What about an army going into apartment buildings or small areas that a tank cant reach? Seems to me that assault rifles would be the ideal weapon then... Big machines only go so far. At the bare minimum it comes down to guns and assault rifles are an equilizer.

Yes. They should. 99.9% of citizens can't afford these things so its irrelevant. The 1% that can afford these things has too much to lose to use these things.

If you have the funds to buy tanks and bombers than you clearly have a head on your shoulders and the chance of you being a psycho is slim to none.

I can change the clip on my handgun 7 times and kill 50-100 people as well. Just because its faster on an automatic rifle doesnt mean the damage is any less with a handgun.

I think the insane with money will to whatever they want regardless of the laws. They have the money to produce their own weapons if need be.

The people with money tend to be sane because they have something to lose. Most mass murderers have nothing to lose.
