Africa needs builders, stone and brick masons, carpenters, engineers, painters, machinists, chemists, blacksmiths, shipbuilders, miners, gunsmith, manufactures and teachers. We need to find people who know how to take raw materials and turn it into a finished product.
As a black person, I hate to watch the pillage of the continent from White People, Chinese People and Arabs all at once when there is virtually nothing I can do about it.
They make it seem like those primitives are so grateful for the aid of their white knights. smh I don't mind France helping, but they do nothing at their own expense. Someone will pay for their presence and I would much rather if such conflicts were able to be resolved by the nation or a union of nations.

How would this be accomplished, since a good portion of many African populations consider themselves Muslim first and African second and I doubt these Muslims view Islamists the way we do.
A lot of Muslims in these countries are accomplished, prosperous, and influential. I don't think this is an easy thing.

there is no evidence that the people in Mali support the islamists, the islamists practice an extreme form of islam that black people have no interest in

Unfortunately Western Powers support Saudi Arabia as an Allie so in reality Islamists are Allie. The same powers fighting these groups in these countries are the same ones supporting them.
