eventually we're going to be able to print organs, which will save an unbelievable amount of lives.

What happens when demons realize more people are living, instead of dying, friend?

When they are finally able to print people will you still say man has no creator, when the only evidence of mans creation is at the hands of creation.

I think a massive natural disaster or the human race will destroy itself before overpopulation becomes a problem. Yellowstone is past due for an eruption so that will kill a solid 50mil or more

That would singlehandedly end the backwoods militia in the united states.

Whoa whoa whoa. That's plastic.
We can make stuff out of plastic, like a gun or heart, but that doesn't mean its going to work. They can 3D print a McRib but I'm not going to eat it.
Doc Holiday dapped this.

your extremely ignorant

the only difference between a 3d printed McRib versus the way McRibs are made right now is that the 3d printed McRib would produce less waste

3d printing is additive manufacturing in the sense that stuff is built layer by layer rather than the current method of manufacturing which starts with a big piece and removes material from it creating waste

3d printing also involves way more than just plastic. They are now printing with steel, concrete, and as this pic shows human cells. It won't be long before they are able to print using every material imaginable. I personally can't wait for the 3d printing that can print multiple fabrics so I can start printing out my clothes rather than having to go to a store to buy them.

I kind of get it but there's just too many unknowns for this to seem viable right now. Maybe skin would work, but when you're talking about organs with complex functionality, i just don't see the human body (or any body) accepting it.

Don't get me wrong, it would be the most awesome fountain of youth to just print out your body parts piece by piece, but i think even at a microscopic level our cells could tell the difference.

Considering how grossly genetically altered the food is mixed with the living condition of the meat, a 3d printed mcrib would prolly be healthier bruh

wtf?

****** really need to learn how to read before speaking on topics they have no idea about

what the doctors are doing is taking your own cells, turning them into induced pluripotent stem cells (which means cells that can turn into any type of cell in the body), then they grow those stems cells into skin cells/ liver cells/kidney cells/lung cells/etc.

all of this means that whatever organ that is produced is GENETICALLY IDENTICAL to your previous organ since its built from the same DNA.....thus there is no reason to worry about the human body not accepting it.....the body would recognize the new organ as no different than the old organ since they are genetically identical

Okay bruh... I'll just leave it at i'm marveled at the ability to create identical organs one slice at a time. *exits thread*
