Dubstep as a genre is instrumental based. Yes there are songs that have singers such as Emika, Spaceape etc (don't know why i said there names because whose kidding, you won't know who they are) and some MC's that sing/spit over the track but Dubstep as a genre is instrumental based.

You saying "use dubstep as the beat" makes no sense for this reason. Dubstep with vocals is the minority


and yeah, love...i'm in the UK...bank holiday day today, which means no work i'm doing work that involves the computer, but yeah...nice try

...there's no texture to it at all. We heard **** like that in 2007 and called it horrible back then, too. There's nothing new being brought to someone using VSTs to appeal to folks who just recognize that distorted bassline.

I wouldn't even waste your time breh... she's *instant skip by post status* imo...i don't even know what "songs" ( i know, calling them songs is lol worthy) she posted. She really thinks its about not having an open mind like we all haven't had to endure brostep for 5 years . What really annoyed me is that I just can't stand or have respect for people who're arrogant about something whilst not knowing anything about the topic they're arrogant about. If she knew just a smidgin about the genre I would've responded to her like I took her seriously but ehh. Usually when I don't know much about a topic I research its history and at least take what more knowledgable people say on board so at least I don't come off like a culture vulture dikkhead from the get go. But ah well if she wants to post in the thread that's down to her...it's just she doesn't seem to get that noone wants her to post the stuff she's posting in the thread and noone is paying any meaningful attention to it
