Default Betting Question

my new company really wants to expand betting options. ive thought up some new ones, and one actually caught on quite well last year at my old book and that was 3 way football betting. same way soccer 3 way bets are, say usc is -21. we would have a line if usc won by 21 or more, if usc won by 1-20, or if the other team won the game. it did decent business for a new concept. we have some avid sports bettors here, and even if you dont bet real money, what are some things that are not yet available for betting that you think people would actually put real cash up for. any ideas are welcome, as dumb or weird as you think they sound

Great ?... Uh, 1st & 2nd half spreads (football) instead of the entire game. Sounds kind of dumb but I think it would work if you don't already. I'd have to think when I sober up but you could also suggest QB passing yards. Straight up, who's gonna pass for more yards.

I'll think on it

props on the response. we do first half and second half lines on all games, including preseason. we also do "in game" on the marquee matchups/games each week, where each commercial break you can bet on a team with an updated game line. the tv games each week we also do quarter lines, where you can bet each of the 4 quarters before the game starts. we do season long passing/rushing/receiving leaders, as well as weekly "fantasy football style" matchups where we might have brees vs brady where brees will be -24½ passing yards or something. we usually do 5 of those matchups each for qbs, rbs, and wrs each. football i thought we had everything covered that you could bet, but that 3 way price idea popped in my head and everyone liked it. i know someone else can find some out of the box way to bet football, and some of the other sports that would catch on. i also have thought about doing "second half" bets on baseball games. we do 1st five inning lines/totals on every game where you bet what the score will be an the end of the 5th inning (lots of people like these bets since you can eliminate the teams bullpens and you just bet the starter, but that fact is also priced into the line), but i thought about putting an adjusted line up at the end of the 5th that you could bet the rest of the game, at least on the daily tv games on espn and local tv. im not sure how that would work

Good, that's very popular in Australian Football betting as well.

Alt lines are the biggest, correlated parlays, open parlays

In baseball all I do is 1st 5, not sure how many people bet 2nd half baseball

MLB series lines.

Really not any gimmicks, but just alt lines. -1 in hockey (do yall even do hockey though), -1 in baseball

O/U on IP by a Starting Pitcher for any game they start.

In terms of Internet/Live Betting

O/U in terms if base runners reached in a inning and 1-2-3 inning propositions

Has anyone ever put a spread out for, any given day in one league, the amount of overtime games?

Say today, +/- 2.5 OT games in the NBA?

What about a weekly (for NFL) or nightly scoring/rushing/passing/assists leaders bets.
