I just got into watches, only have two pieces so far
Armani SPORTIVO WATCH AR5890. This is my everyday piece, subtle but very detailed. LOVE IT.
My flashy piece. Its a big face and heavy, always get compliments on it. The watch is made by Daniel Steiger. Way cheaper than it looks but good quality.
My next pickup. Saw it while I was on KLM and ive been lusting over it ever since. Ill probably buy this as a bday present to myself. What yall think
Trying to touch on the "quality" factor and saw these recently for sale:
PAM homage
Zodiac V-Wolf
Orient World Time Automatic
Opinions?
All the sellers (craigslist, WUS, etc.) flaked out on a ***** so I'm moving on to Amazon and eyed up the Orient Blue Mako XL:
But I will replace the bracelet with a dark brown leather number.
Prolly was a blessing to not get any of the previous ones bc the Blue Mako is pound for pound a better watch. Plus, I can wear in a business and casual setting.
Victorinox swiss army watches are moderately priced well made watches. And of course the swiss makes them so you know they'll be accurate. They'll probably cost more on average brand new but if you can find a seller who has kept it in good condition you're golden.
I frequent WatchSeekers to get info on different online seller and theres also a private seller subsection there as well.
Old (2005 maybe) Tag Formula One. Steel band with white face and black dial.
Then I have a Tag Aquaracer. Steel band, blue face ... got it in 2007 or 2008.
Time for a new one.
Not sure I want to spend Tag money again (my kids are older and more expensive now).
But I do like the new Formula 1 with the black face and black rubber band.
edit -- I wrote "tag" way too many times in this post.
The problem with TAGs is that they put $20 ETA movements in watches that cost $3-4k. The same movements which other swiss makers put in low range watches. Its not that those movements suck its just you expect something more for $4k.
They are also owned by Louis Vuitton and that fact makes watch communities look at it kinda .

Yeah Victorinox is very solid. They have a good history.

Yeah ... I give zero fucks what "watch communities" think of what I buy or wear.
Regardless, I think it's funny that people worry about what giant holding company owns another company. Ferrari is owned by Fiat. I'm sure the cars are still OK.
I must be buggin like I don't have a budget or whatnot!!
Just ordered
Excited like its Christmas!!!
that M185S is pure sexXx
