I believe Taker and Warrior had a bodybag match. Not sure if it was an MSG show or on Primetime Wrestling but they def did because I remember seeing it. With how Takers powers wound up being with lightning and **** that feud could have been GOAT one way or another if special effects had been used. It would have been amazing or just top notch fuckery.
Yeah, that's what was so strange about it, they had matches at houses shows, had Taker lock Warrior inside a casket, had Jake 'teach' Warrior how to face death and all that **** yet, they never had a match on PPV. Summerslam '91 was the perfect time for it but for some reason they forced Warrior into a tag match with Hogan who was feuding with Slaughter's triangle of terror. I have no idea why they never gave us that proper blow off to the whole Warrior/Taker/Jake angle they had going.
The Jake/Savage feud never really got a proper blow off either IIRC.

The Warrior/Jake feud was supposed to kick off after SummerSlam... when Warrior got fired, they moved Jake along to Savage. That whole skit w/ Jake/Taker at Savage's wedding party was done to air on TV the week after SummerSlam, cause Warrior was gone.
The Jake/Savage feud got blown off on Saturday Night's Main Event. Savage beat Jake, then Jake was backstage about to hit Savage & Liz w/ the chair... Undertaker grabbed it from him and Savage kicked his ***. So that ended Savage/Jake and started Taker/Jake.

Damn, I had my timeline all fucked up, I still don't see why they didn't run Taker/Warrior at Summerslam tho.
I totally forgot about that chair incident with Jake which led to Takers face turn when he told Jake he wasn't on his side. I cant believe I forgot about that ****, damn my memory is I still think Jake/Savage needed a better blow off, with the snake bite and Jake slapping Liz, I felt like that should've ended on a PPV.
I just remember there was so much going on around that time, wasn't Sid supposed to be the one that got bit by the snake but he hurt his shoulder so they had Savage take his place or was that someone else?

Yeah, the Taker/Warrior feud not going to SummerSlam just made no sense.
I might be wrong, but I think certain stuff happening just twisted up the booking all the way around. Warrior got fired, so they jump to Jake/Savage. Savage isn't ready to come back yet, so it becomes Jake/Sid. Sid gets injured so they jump to Jake/Savage (which prob. was gonna get a blowoff at Mania). Jake/Savage runs, Sid comes back. Vince changes his mind about Hogan/Flair at Mania, so Sid gets put with Hogan, then Savage gets put with Flair, meanwhile Taker's getting over so he gets turned to feud with Jake...
I think a lotta grey hairs popped up between August '91 and spring of '92... **** was all over the place but still managed to work out, kinda. I doubt any of that was planned to go the way it did.
Forgotten Storyline: Edge & Christian being brothers
They went from being brothers to being best friends... I guess WWE figures that thanks to wikipedia we would know better.

It's one of the sideplates, breh. I'm watching the episode where they crown a champion right now.
I was trying to avoid that spoiler like the plague. Glad Jinder didn't take it though.
