Kliq were big cash cows, McMahon protected Shawn and the Kliq, always welcomes them back--even Scott Hall a few times. Trips is in his family. Trish is touted as the greatest diva of all time. If she got her push because a married Vince was fucking her, and got many of her privileges and status because of her sexual relationship with her boss, Vince wouldn't want that to come out.
Why not do Vince a solid and co-sign the "she never fucked around on anyone ever" line? There were always rumors that she slept with McMahon, and I said earlier even a former writer said she did but I don't think it went anywhere.
It's an environment where you protect your business interests. Protecting Vince's privacy means you protect your money, you can come back to WWE at any time and work. Vince loves the Klique, the Klique loves Vince. Why would you compromise that by confirming rumors about who Trish fucked?
Doesn't mean she did it, but there will always be that doubt because as long as Vince is alive it is a mutually beneficial situation to protect that rep. Every interview I've seen of the Klique (save Scott cuz I haven't watched a shoot with him) they've all said she was an innocent snowflake who never fucked anyone and that's why she was pushed.
It could be true, but it could also just be a lie.
