I actually got my maschine beatpad next to me right now. I was finishing up a couple of new projects I was working on that I'm putting out.
I love this thing. I remember when I first got and I just kind of played around with it and let it sit for 2 years.
Then I started messing around with it last summer...and my life has not been the same since.
I used to want an MPC really bad...but honestly this does everything that does and then some. I said before in another thread that I used to have a big studip with so much stuff...but I got rid of alot of the USB controllers and keyboards I was using because Maschine just phased them out.
The funny thing is, I haven't even used this thing to it's 100% potential...and I just love what I can do with it. I'm actually making tracks I can stand by and listen to for the first time in my life! I remember making tracks using fruity loops and reason and ableton and while I liked the stuff I made...it just really sounded like presets and it didn't have my "touch" or personality in any of the tracks I made.
I can honestly make any type of music from any genre I want with this...I love it!

I've been looking for those. I've just been using the upgrades that NI has. I haven't really been able to find any additional sample packs. Although they're probably out there.

Convince me on Mashine, looking at copping the Mikro or OG. How limited is the Mikro?
Don't kno much about the mikro.....the only thing I kno that its missing a few knobs and it doesn't have a screen like the og.
The Maschine is dope man....I originally was using reason 5.0 and jumped to the maschine. Everything is just more easier on the maschine.....I sample heavy and when it came down to sampling the reason was headache man
I'm not feeling how the maschine don't have a visual mixer but there's a meter to let u kno when u clipping
It's good purchase man u will like it. I feel its a good alternative if u can't afford a mpc. What are u using now?

Trying to replicate the MPC sequencer ease of use in Reason 6.5 doesn't work well do them them not having a erase/replace one button press.
Maschine just dropped to $399 and the Mikro dropped to $250, I am going to order the OG after I call sweetwater about the MPC studio.
