I started writing rhymes back in like 99-2000 when I was in like 6th 7th grade. Got pretty nice with the rhymes, was slayin heads in battles left n right when freestylin was poppin. Started puttin out tapes in my highschool with a dude named PhreshTrax doin all the beats. We made 2 or 3 tapes together and he moved off to college, and I had no beats

So I started teaching myself Fruity Loops when I was like 16-17, I've been in the game since. So maybe 10 years or so.

I used that for a few years and eventually I ended up landing a job at AKAI as tech support and beta tester (had been using the MPD24 with FL )

@ AKAI I pretty much learned every AKAI and Alesis piece of gear ever made, all he way back to the Roger Linn edition MPC60 and those old s2000 samplers and started really knowing my around the work flow of producing music.

Eventually I became the lead tech and was writing guides for Protools, Logic, Sonar, Ableton Live, Cubase etc, and how to interface them with the MPC for tracking or as a sound module. I also had to write the guides on how to use with the korg Triton or Motif as a sound module, which taught me a lot.

I got to help develop the MPC5000, which should've been better but lets just say AKAI has sketchy business practices (which is why I left), the MPK49, MPK25, MPD18, DM10 drum kit, and on and on, It was an awesome experience and I got to teach a lot of big name producers how to use their gear, a real learning experience.

It's gonna sound crazy but I had to leave because it was killing me artistically, its like I been teaching people how to make beats for 10 hours, **** I look like goin home and makin beats myself . So I eventually left, sorry for the long winded explanation breh
