Black ones can have the old pads also, you have to wiggle the corners of the pad to make sure.

Copped it brand new in March and have only used it for 4-5 hours total

I havent even made 1 beat on this thing

impulse buy

i been making beats for about 7 years exclusively on my pc but wanted to try hardware and i just never got over the learning curve and gave up

**** been sitting in my closet for the last 7-8 months collecting dust

honestly tho i havent made any beats since i copped it(on the mpc or reason/fruity loops)

even when i go to the studio now the most i do is mix...i just dont have the passion/love for it like i use to

i was thinking about playing around with the beats a lil bit.
how long would you think it'd take to get the hang of it? or should i just
quit while i'm ahead?

If you do it **** with software dont go the hardware route

Get fl studio to start off and get a lil keyboard and a mpd32

Reason is another program for beats but its not as easy to use as fl studio

Its gonna take you a while before you learn your software and learn to put beats together so if you dont have patience or love for music dont waste your time
